Salvation

No one ever talks about their doubts of salvation because talking about it may be and open invitation for condemnation and criticism. However when you finish reading this, you will know for sure if you are, or are not saved according to the Bible. If you are not you will know for sure that you are not and if you are you will know for sure that you are. John 3:19-21

It is one thing to be saved but another to know for sure that you know for sure. When you stand before Jesus, and He ask you, "Why should I let you into my heaven?" What are you going to say? You do not have to wait until then to find out. I John.

I have a very religious family. Most of them work in churches, sing, teach, give their money, but later in life confessed that they never were saved, just religions. My Brother Stephen fought with this thing of assurance until he was 38. My son Jared was in good Bible church 3 times a week for 25 years, before understanding real salvation. My daughter Melinda, went to Christian Bible collage but just last week called and said, "Daddy I am having doubts about my salvation." My wife Ann lived six years thinking she understood but did not. I got baptized but two years later learned that I needed to get saved. If you ask for a raise of hands in America's churches, "How many people thought they were saved for years, but later came to the knowledge of real salvation." We would all be shocked how many hands would rase. Let's don't wait till heaven to find that out that we have to go to the other place?

Now just what is it that makes a person live in heaven for eternity?

Hebrews 11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please Him: He that cometh to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

Believing the above scripture with the mind is not salvation. What I mean is if you believe the fact of God's existence or the fact of his creation with your mind, this is not the same as making him boss or Lord over your heart.

You can even believe the fact of Jesus death on the cross, the fact that God really loves you, or the fact that the Bible is the word of God, and everything in is true. If you believe all this with your mind, and not with your heart, Jesus will not ask you into His heaven, according the the King James Bible. It must be with the heart that you are willing to walk with him as Lord of your life. see Romans 10:9-13.

People will trust anything for salvation.

A baptism will not save you or even help save you, repeating a prayer after someone is not what Bible salvation is. Going to church or being good, or having some great feeling is not salvation. Because things are going right or not going right is not evidence of Bible salvation. Walking down a church ale will not save you.

The reason that salvation is hard for some and easy for others is a result of how you were raised. Where you always able to get around the authority? Did you have to obey the first time? The person that was trained that he could get around the authority will try and get around God's authority. Those that were raised with No Absolutes have a hard time comprehending that God will send them to hell. However; blaming God for your upbringing will not excuss you for rejecting the one that died for you.

You can be an overcomer!

2 Timothy 3 "¶This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy. Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good. Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."

Here are some things that you must absolutely believe before you can be saved.

#1. You must believe that God really loves and cares for you. John 3:16 - 20

#2. You must absolutely believe that you are lost. You cannot be saved until you know for sure that you would go to hell if you died today.

#3. You must absolutely believe that the Bible is God's word and that God cannot lie. Titus 1:2.

#4. You must believe, by faith that God will forgive you of all your sins no matter how big they are. I John 1:9. At the same time you must absolutely turn form them and start going toward God. Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

#5. You must believe that you can only get saved one time and that you can never be lost again. John 3:36 also 5"24 and 6:47. The scripture says that salvation is everlasting.

#6. You must believe that there is absolutely nothing you can do to save yourself and that everything has already been done when Jesus paid the price on the cross. It is a gift from Him to you that you are right now receiving by faith. Ephesians 2:8-9 Titus 3:5

#7. You must ask Him.

ASK HIM

If you believe the above the only thing left is to just ask for God to save you. Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the lord shall be saved."

No one has ever trick God into saving oneself by going through the motions, and saying all the right things. Unless you are willing to make an honest effort to stop going your way and start going God's way with your heart, you will not ever go the heaven. You don't have to do everything perfect but you do have to make a honest effort to start listing. You will never get out of the dark and have the light of God to lead you unless you start. There has never been anyone that was sorry that they got saved.

Salvation is a time in your life that you are willing to stop saying no to the one that yes to the cross and you start saying yes to act and be a Christian.

Prayer

Lord, Jesus, The best I know how, I ask you by faith to come into my heart and forgive me of all my sins. With the right heart attitude and your help, I will stop going my way and start going your way. Forgiving me of all my sins and for paying the price for my salvation on the cross. I receive your gift now by faith.

Now, a vial of ignores is lifted to everyone that believeth and everything is different now. You will love the things you use to hate and hate the things you use to love. Now God can speak to you lead you and open your understanding to more truth, because now you can hear with your spirit and understand with your heart. Jesus is the light of the world. The more you follow Him the brighter the light will shin. You see this is not religion but a relationship. II Cor. 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

John 1:12 "But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name."

Did you receive Him or reject Him? You can not do both at the same time. The question is did you receive Him with your heart. Romans 10:10 says, "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." The word Heart is in the Bible 830 times and never does it mean the organ in side of you. Your heart is what you love with hate with have joy or sadness with. If you trust God by faith with your heart, He will give you that deep settled peace that passes all understanding.

Salvation is not by feelings or at least we do not believe because of feelings but because of the cross. However you may feel like a big weight has been lifted off you chest.

True Test of Assurence

If you do not remember what you trusted in, you are not saved. The Holy Spirit never lets a person forget times of true humility. Tell me about the time when you got a spanking. You can tell me all the details very clearly. If the time you claim was not a very humbling time you are not saved. Without humility you will never go to heaven. If you don't know, then you did not, because if you did you would know it. I John 5:13

If time and sin has clouded your assurance, go back to the time when you prayed. Were you 100% sure at that time? If you were sure then, you must have stop feeding, the Spirit that God planted in your heart. Start having a relationship with Him and the lights will come back on? Your assurance and joy will come back the oppression will leave. The most troubled people on earth are those that or saved but their life does not reflect Christ. The trouble is God's love, saying, Come unto me all ye that labor and or heavy ladden, and I will give you rest.

When a saved person is asked to pray for salvation, they will always say, "I have already done that." A true child of God will not ask over and over for salvation, because they know it is not by begging but by faith. A lost person will ask to be saved every time they pray, because they are trusting their own ability to act real humble. Please read John 8:34-59 and 10:1-30.
